We recommend reaching out to a florist 8-12 months prior to your event, and no earlier than 18 months before. However, if youβre confident in your vision for your wedding decor and are ready to book a florist, or if thereβs a florist that you know you want to work with itβs definitely worth connecting with them early.
We take on a limited number of events per season, allowing us to dedicate our full attention and care to your event. We recommend booking early to secure your date!

We use primarily Canadian-grown flowers, with the rest coming from farms in South America, Holland, and the US. We especially love working with flowers from local Alberta farms in the summer!
We aim to be transparent about the origins of the florals used in our designs, and strive to use Canadian-grown product as much as possible.
Check out a deep dive into how we source our flowers on the blog here!

We have an in-depth blog post about sustainable floristry that you can read here! But hereβs a quick summary:
Prioritize Canadian + locally-grown flowers.
Avoid the use of floral foam (a single-use plastic!). Instead we use reusable or no/low-waste mechanics like chicken wire, moss, kenzan, waterpics, tape, Agrawool, or Oshun pouches.
Avoid painted/dyed/bleached florals. These treatments can often render an otherwise compostable product non-biodegradable, depending on the dyes used.
Use low-waste packaging and reuse as much of it as possible. Nearly all of our packaging is recyclable or reusable.
Buy second-hand vessels. So many vases end up at the thrift store or in landfills so we try to get as much of our glass and ceramic vases from thrift stores instead of buying new.
