1:1 studio intensives

At an HQS FLORAL studio intensive, you’ll get individual mentorship from owner and lead designer Hannah, a florist and floral educator with over 13 years of experience in the industry.

This is more than a hands-on design class; lessons are personalized to your needs and goals. We’ll create a custom lesson plan and provide you with tailored resources so you walk away with confidence and a clear path forward, and of course armfuls of beautiful flowers!

meet the florist

Hannah Quimper-Swiderski is an artist, florist, and owner of HQS FLORAL, based in amiskwaciwâskahikan-edmonton. Specializing in weddings and events, Hannah combines her 13 years in the floral industry with a background in visual art to create thoughtfully curated and artfully arranged designs. With sustainability always in mind, she prioritizes working with Canadian-grown flowers and low-waste floristry practices.

As an educator, Hannah has taught countless floral design classes for all skill levels and abilities over the past decade. Her classes are relaxed and fun, with play being encouraged above perfection.

When she’s not in the studio, you can probably find Hannah snuggling with her needy kitty Jenny, catching a movie at Metro Cinema, or cycling around town.

  • "She taught me so much, and really tailored the two sessions we had to focus on what areas I requested more knowledge on to help me grow my own flower business. She taught me techniques that have really helped me be a better designer too. I’m so glad I booked her and would recommend her to anyone looking to build general flower knowledge and even more advanced skills in floral care and design!"

  • "She is such a great teacher and her passion for floral arranging is palpable. She is super knowledgeable and makes the classes so chill and enjoyable!"
