Small group classes are hands-on design intensives hosted at HQS FLORAL’s private studio in south central Edmonton. Registration is limited to 5 people for a more intimate and personalized classroom environment, making these classes ideal whether you’re looking to develop foundational skills for a career in floristry, or just want some time to create and play in a relaxed and supportive environment.
In this introductory class, topics covered will include: container arranging techniques and armatures, cut flower care, handling, and longevity, the elements and principles of floral design, sustainable floristry, and the floral industry and business of flowers.
Students will work with an abundance of premium fresh florals to craft lush and beautiful designs, taking home a custom arrangement each week. Both beginner and intermediate students are welcome, and all materials and tools will be provided.
This is a 3 week course that runs April 12 - 26, on Sundays from 1:00 - 3:30pm.

Cancellation Policy | HQS FLORAL classes
Registrations cancelled up to 15 days prior to the class start date will receive a refund for the full amount of the class fee. Registrations cancelled between 14 days up to 5 days before the class start date will be charged an administration + materials fee of $100. The full amount of the class fee minus the $100 fee will be refunded. Cancellation notices that occur within 5 days or less of the program start date will forfeit the full class fee. Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to hello@hqsfloral.com.
